Davao City is honored to once again host Mindanao's prestigious annual ICT event, the Mindanao ICT (MICT) Congress. The 6th MICT Congress promises to boost Mindanao's ICT industry with the joint participation of the BIMP-EAGA countries (Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines)in its 1st BIMP-EAGA ICT Conference. The chosen theme for this year is “ICT Beyond Borders” which effectively captures the increasing role of ICT in effecting borderless trade and cultural exhanges. This year's event features forums for discussing ICT issues and technical seminars highlighting the latest technologies and future trends. The congress will also feature special events like an ICT “Digital Lifestyle” trade exhibit, quiz shows, business matching forums, a Mindanao Bloggers summit, digital photography exhibition, and an online gaming competition.
